Last Saturday I went on on a trip with a friend from QP and his three kids. My neighbor Pcv Elsie came along and we made a day of fishing and then heading to the beach in a dugout canoe with a motor on back. Pictures:
Looks gorgeous. I would like that shell, please. How many fish did you catch, Cati? You've come a long way from the screaming girl in the canoe with a flipping fish near her feet.
I caught one fish. And I do not deserve praise because I screamed GET IT AWAY FROM ME and threw it at Elsie. It was bigger and uglier than I was expecting. And, it was also she who took that picture without zoom. Brave.
I am working on the fear. Not all the way conquered yet. I like the small creek fish better. Things in the ocean are scary.
I spent 27 months volunteering as an environmental health worker in Panama from August 2009 to October 2011. I worked in a small indigenous village, mostly on health and youth development projects. ReplyDeleteThat looks gorgeous! I'm shocked at how close that pic is with the fishes. No zoom?
